Faith for the 21st Century | Prayer Chapel

Vernon and Sara Lewis with Claud Lenard

Solid Biblical studies based upon material provided by the Assemblies of God.

Unit 1 – Truths for Christian Living [1,2,3 John and Jude]:
John and Jude wrote to combat false teachers and to call believers to hold to the true faith of the gospel of Jesus Christ. The challenge to live for God and to be faithful to the truth is as real today as it was for early believers.

Unit 2 – Growing Spiritually:
How can we determine if we are growing spiritually? In this unit we will explore what it means to grow spiritually and determine some of the things we can do to help us do so.

The Story | Hospitality Room

Dr. Joshua Fischer

The Bible is one continuing story of God and His people. Based on the work of Randy Frazee and Max Lucado, this class will focus on the greatest story of all time. The story of a God who loves His children, who established for them a way of salvation and provided for them a route to eternity. Each story presented reveals the God of grace – the God who speaks; the God who acts; the God who listens; the God whose love for His people culminated in the sacrifice of His only Son for the sins of humanity. This same God is still speaking, still listening, still demonstrating His unfailing love. These stories will encourage you to listen to God’s call on your life, as He intersects His story with your story.

Horizons ~ The Greatest Life of All | AC 201

Rev. Ralph Lovvorn

Son of God, Savior of Mankind, Jesus Christ, is without question the most influential person in history. Millions of people claim and live by the truths that He proclaimed. But who exactly is Jesus, a popular religious leader and teacher, an ancient martyr? Many today are unsure, for even many scholars debate whether the Jesus of history is the Christ of faith. Now, more than ever, we need a clear understanding of the person and work of the man millions call, Savior. This fascinating biography, filled with biblical and historical insights takes us on an unforgettable journey through the complex and provocative life of Jesus of Nazareth. His super-natural birth, His astonishing power, His controversial teaching, His shocking death, and His world-changing resurrection reveals Jesus with great clarity, and offers practical applications for our own lives.

Journeys | Room 202

Kenny Hunt and Larry Shafer

Just Walk Across the Room – Bill Hybels brings personal evangelism into the twenty-first century with a natural approach modeled after Jesus Himself. He had no forced formulas – just an offer of redemption to broken people. This study will equip you to engage in that same pattern of grace-giving by leaving circles of comfort and extending hands of care, compassion and hope to people who need the touch of God’s love on their life.

The Power of a Whisper – This study demonstrates what life can look like when God’s followers choose to hear from heaven as they navigate through life on earth. Through first-hand accounts, learn about whispers that bring clarity to decision making, quiet promptings that encourage personal growth, and nudges that in- spire the courage to hear from heaven and do exactly what your Heavenly Father says.

The Boiler Room | Conference Room 203

Ron Hood with Larry Johnson

Prayer, Discipleship and Soul Winning. We will study the book – The Radical Cross: Living the Passion of Christ by A.W. Tozer. WARNING! This study is not for those satisfied with a status-quo relationship with God. The focus of our study will be The Radical Cross and its promises, its price, its purpose, its pain, its provisions and its paradox. Your understanding of the Cross and your commitment to its imperative will be greatly increased through this study.

Home Improvement | Room 204

Jeff Turner & Kevin Hanover

Not a Fan by Kyle Idleman – Would you describe yourself as a fan of Jesus? One definition of fan is: an enthusiastic admirer. In the Gospels, Jesus never seemed too interested in fans. He was looking for followers. Not just any follower, though. He was looking for…completely…committed…followers. Are you ready to step across the line and join those who have declared, I am not a fan!?

The Circle Maker by Mark Batterson – ‘Drawing prayer circles around our dreams isn’t just a mechanism whereby we accomplish great things for God. It’s a mechanism whereby God accomplishes great things in us.’ Do you ever sense that there’s far more to prayer, and to God’s vision for your life, than what you’re experiencing? It’s time you learned from the legend of Honi the Circle Maker – a man bold enough to draw a circle in the sand and not budge from inside it until God answered his prayers for his people. What impossibly big dream is God calling you to draw a prayer circle around? This study will help you uncover your heart’s deepest desires and God-given dreams and unleash them through the kind of audacious prayer that God delights to answer.

24 | Room 206

Dr. Mark and Lori Callery with Curtis and Lindsey Johnson

Guardrails by Andy Stanley – They’re everywhere, but they don’t really get much attention… until somebody hits one. And then, more often that not, it is a lifesaver. Ever wonder what it would be like to have guardrails in other areas of your life—areas where culture baits you to the edge of disaster and then chastises you when you step across the line? Your friendships. Your finances. Your marriage. Maybe your greatest regret could have been avoided if you had established guardrails.

Join us this quarter for 13 timely video and discussion lessons from Andy Stanley that will challenge us to stop flirting with disaster, establish personal guardrails in our lives, and bring us to a place of responsibility and dedication to God’s word.
